Limits and behavior
Helvetica WinAnsi characters only. Existing content is not moved. Local processing. Maximum 10 MB per file, 25 MB total and 100 PDF pages. Encrypted PDFs require the separate known-password decryption tool. Digitally signed input may lose signature validity after any modification; preserve your original. Unsupported or malformed files produce an error. Cancellation stops active PDF renders and discards stale results; a synchronous library step finishes before the browser can handle cancellation.
Add text to the top or bottom of PDF pages
Insert a text header and footer on selected pages of an existing PDF. This helps label reports and handouts without manually rebuilding each page.
Will headers automatically avoid existing page content?
Not necessarily. Review placement and spacing in the resulting PDF so added text does not obscure material already near the page edges.
