Limits and behavior
Pages are copied as embedded page content; interactive annotations and fields are not retained. Transparent areas reveal the chosen background. Local processing. Maximum 10 MB per file, 25 MB total and 100 PDF pages. Encrypted PDFs require the separate known-password decryption tool. Digitally signed input may lose signature validity after any modification; preserve your original. Unsupported or malformed files produce an error. Cancellation stops active PDF renders and discards stale results; a synchronous library step finishes before the browser can handle cancellation.
Set a colored background behind PDF content
Add a solid background to PDF pages so the page appears on a different paper color. The operation draws behind the existing content rather than deleting it.
Will a background cover existing text or images?
The background is added behind page content. Existing opaque areas and embedded images may obscure the chosen color.
