Limits and behavior

PDF first/second selection order is respected. No OCR or pixel/layout comparison; text reading order follows PDF items. Local processing. Maximum 10 MB per file, 25 MB total and 100 PDF pages. Encrypted PDFs require the separate known-password decryption tool. Digitally signed input may lose signature validity after any modification; preserve your original. Unsupported or malformed files produce an error. Cancellation stops active PDF renders and discards stale results; a synchronous library step finishes before the browser can handle cancellation.

Compare readable text between two PDFs

Use this PDF comparison tool to examine changes in selectable document text, such as edits between report drafts.

Will it detect visual-only changes and scanned text?

Not necessarily. The comparison is text based; image-only scans and visual formatting differences may not appear in the text diff.
