Limits and behavior
JSON keys are exact field names. Text accepts strings, checkboxes booleans, choice fields strings or string arrays. Signature fields cannot be filled. XFA is unsupported. Local processing. Maximum 10 MB per file, 25 MB total and 100 PDF pages. Encrypted PDFs require the separate known-password decryption tool. Digitally signed input may lose signature validity after any modification; preserve your original. Unsupported or malformed files produce an error. Cancellation stops active PDF renders and discards stale results; a synchronous library step finishes before the browser can handle cancellation.
Enter values into a fillable PDF form
Fill supported interactive fields in a PDF using their field names and types. This is useful for forms that already contain compatible AcroForm controls.
Will this add fields to a PDF that is not fillable?
No. The input needs supported form fields. Image-only or flattened paper forms require another workflow before interactive filling is possible.
