Limits and behavior
Clears standard metadata values. This is not complete document anonymization: comments, tracked changes, content, custom XML and embedded files remain. Local processing. Maximum 10 MB per file, 25 MB total; expanded ZIP contents at most 50 MB and 2,000 entries. Spreadsheet limit: 10,000 cells and 2,000 rows per sheet. Macros are never executed. Originals are unchanged. Cancellation stops active PDF renders and discards stale results; a synchronous library step finishes before the browser can handle cancellation.

Remove selected supported DOCX metadata property values before sharing. Inspect the output using the metadata viewer.
Does metadata removal guarantee complete anonymity?
No. Document content, comments, revision history and unsupported embedded parts may still contain identifying information.
