Limits and behavior
Cell values/formulas and common styles are retained. Cross-sheet formulas are rejected because dependencies would be missing. Local processing. Maximum 10 MB per file, 25 MB total; expanded ZIP contents at most 50 MB and 2,000 entries. Spreadsheet limit: 10,000 cells and 2,000 rows per sheet. Macros are never executed. Originals are unchanged. Cancellation stops active PDF renders and discards stale results; a synchronous library step finishes before the browser can handle cancellation.
Separate Excel workbook tabs into individual files
Split a workbook so each selected source worksheet becomes a separate XLSX file delivered within a ZIP archive.
Will formulas referencing other sheets work after splitting?
Cross-sheet references may not work after separation. Review any calculated values and formulas in the outputs.
