Try real inputs, compare the outputs.

These examples use small, deliberately selected inputs with checkable results. They help you understand each tool before putting your own data into it. Each example links directly to the relevant free browser tool.

How these examples were checked: The expected results below were observed on representative live CraftAI browser-tool runs on October 30, 2026, or calculated from the displayed formula for the indicated numeric tools. This is not a certification of every possible input or all 500 tools. Tool behavior may vary across browsers, encodings and input formats.

To reproduce an example, use Copy input, open its working tool and paste the text. Some numeric tools require you to enter each number in a separate field rather than pasting the shown setup.

Alphabetize words without deleting duplicates

INPUT
pear apple Pear apple banana
EXPECTED CHECK
apple
apple
banana
pear
Pear

The result keeps every occurrence but orders recognized word tokens. Capitalization may affect ordering, so review mixed-case lists before using them as official data.

Check punctuation counts in a sentence

INPUT
Hello, Ana! Ready?
EXPECTED CHECK
{ "total": 3, "counts": { ",": 1, "!": 1, "?": 1 } }

The JSON reports character counts, not whether punctuation is grammatically appropriate. This is useful when comparing documents or checking a writing pattern.

Reduce text to distinct vocabulary

INPUT
Tea tea coffee Tea
EXPECTED CHECK
tea
coffee

Case-normalized ordinary words collapse into one unique entry. A unique list cannot show how frequently a term appeared.

Turn indentation into actual tab characters

INPUT
    first
        nested
third
EXPECTED CHECK
[TAB]first
[TAB][TAB]nested
third

Tabs can look different across editors. The displayed [TAB] markers here represent actual tab characters in the tool result. Review code carefully after changing indentation.

Find a repeated neighboring word

INPUT
I entered the the details.
EXPECTED CHECK
{ "word": "the", "atCharacter": 11 }

The checker reports a repeated pair and its position. Repeated phrasing might sometimes be intentional; it does not rewrite your sentence for you.

Extract explicit HTTP and HTTPS links

INPUT
See https://example.org/path and http://example.com.
EXPECTED CHECK
https://example.org/path
http://example.com

The result extracts link-shaped text. It does not check whether a destination is safe, legitimate or currently accessible.

Count repeated vocabulary

INPUT
blue green blue red blue
EXPECTED CHECK
{ "totalWords": 5, "repeated": [{ "word": "blue", "count": 3 }] }

Unlike an adjacent-duplicate checker, this tool counts occurrences anywhere in the supplied passage. Recurring terms are not necessarily mistakes.

Count data records in a small CSV

INPUT
name,city
Ana,Hyderabad
Ravi,Delhi
EXPECTED CHECK
{ "rows": 3, "dataRows": 2, "columns": 2 }

Three records include the header; two are data records. A quoted field containing a line break is why proper CSV parsing matters.

Inspect semantic headings in HTML

INPUT
<h1>Guide</h1>
<h2>Steps</h2>
<h3>Prepare</h3>
EXPECTED CHECK
H1: Guide
H2: Steps
H3: Prepare
Warnings: none

The parsed source has one H1 and a sensible outline. This checks pasted HTML, not JavaScript-only headings absent from the source.

Differentiate empty and missing alt text

INPUT
<img src="receipt.png" alt="Invoice total 900">
<img src="decor.svg" alt="">
EXPECTED CHECK
Images: 2
Missing alt: 0
Empty alt: 1

An empty alt can be correct for a decorative picture. This checks attributes only; you must compare each description with the actual image.

A basic investment-return calculation

INPUT
Invested: 10000
Returned: 12000
EXPECTED CHECK
{ "profit": 2000, "roiPercent": 20 }

This is simple ROI before brokerage, taxes and time. It does not annualize a return, and it is not a recommendation to invest.

Add 18% GST to an amount

INPUT
Amount: 1000
Rate: 18
Mode: Add GST
Supply: intra-state
EXPECTED CHECK
{ "taxAmount": 180, "totalAmount": 1180, "CGST": 90, "SGST": 90 }

The worked result divides intra-state GST equally between CGST and SGST. Confirm tax applicability, rates and transaction classification against official guidance.

How to interpret a mismatch

Start by checking whitespace, selected options, input limits and whether the tool treats case variants as the same word. A browser update or malformed input can produce a different result. If a case fails, please provide the tool URL, your browser and the smallest input that reproduces it, without uploading private information.

For documents and images, inspect the generated file rather than relying only on a success message. For legal, medical or financial decisions, verify the result against authoritative guidance. These test fixtures do not prove that every tool is suitable for every task.
