Limits and behavior

Identifiers are added at the bottom right; page content is not moved. Local processing. Maximum 10 MB per file, 25 MB total and 100 PDF pages. Encrypted PDFs require the separate known-password decryption tool. Digitally signed input may lose signature validity after any modification; preserve your original. Unsupported or malformed files produce an error. Cancellation stops active PDF renders and discards stale results; a synchronous library step finishes before the browser can handle cancellation.

Apply consecutive Bates labels to PDF pages

Add Bates-style page identifiers to a document for reference, review and file organization. This PDF Bates stamp tool creates visible numbering on the pages.

Does Bates numbering certify or authenticate a document?

No. A Bates label is a referencing aid and does not establish authenticity, legal admissibility or a verified chain of custody.
