Limits and behavior

Choose the PDF first and watermark image second. Centered image preserves its aspect ratio. Local processing. Maximum 10 MB per file, 25 MB total and 100 PDF pages. Encrypted PDFs require the separate known-password decryption tool. Digitally signed input may lose signature validity after any modification; preserve your original. Unsupported or malformed files produce an error. Cancellation stops active PDF renders and discards stale results; a synchronous library step finishes before the browser can handle cancellation.

Place an image watermark over PDF pages

Add an image or logo to selected PDF pages as a visible watermark. This can help identify draft copies, branded handouts and review materials.

Can a watermark prevent a document from being copied?

No. Watermarks are visible markings, not copy protection or access control. Do not depend on them to safeguard confidential information.
