Limits and behavior
Case sensitive, literal replacement. Affected paragraphs retain their first text run’s formatting; replacements spanning run boundaries are supported. Headers/footers/text boxes are excluded. Local processing. Maximum 10 MB per file, 25 MB total; expanded ZIP contents at most 50 MB and 2,000 entries. Spreadsheet limit: 10,000 cells and 2,000 rows per sheet. Macros are never executed. Originals are unchanged. Cancellation stops active PDF renders and discards stale results; a synchronous library step finishes before the browser can handle cancellation.
