Limits and behavior
Plain-text merge: paragraphs and tables are extracted in source order. Original styles, images, headers, fields and layout are not preserved. Local processing. Maximum 10 MB per file, 25 MB total; expanded ZIP contents at most 50 MB and 2,000 entries. Spreadsheet limit: 10,000 cells and 2,000 rows per sheet. Macros are never executed. Originals are unchanged. Cancellation stops active PDF renders and discards stale results; a synchronous library step finishes before the browser can handle cancellation.
Combine text from multiple DOCX documents
Merge paragraphs from separate DOCX files into a single document for review or consolidation. The operation is based on supported text content.
Does merging DOCX documents preserve every embedded object?
No. Complex Word elements and formatting may not carry through when merging paragraph content. Review the result before final distribution.
