Limits and behavior

Structural inspection only. It does not cryptographically validate a signature, certificate, trust chain or later document modifications. Local processing. Maximum 10 MB per file, 25 MB total and 100 PDF pages. Encrypted PDFs require the separate known-password decryption tool. Digitally signed input may lose signature validity after any modification; preserve your original. Unsupported or malformed files produce an error. Cancellation stops active PDF renders and discards stale results; a synchronous library step finishes before the browser can handle cancellation.

Identify signature fields in a PDF

Inspect whether a PDF contains signature fields and whether those fields contain values. This is useful for understanding document structure before review.

Does a present signature field prove that a signature is valid?

No. This tool does not establish cryptographic validity, signer identity or trust. Use a qualified PDF signature verifier for those checks.
