Limits and behavior
No OCR; visual columns and complex tables may not retain reading order. Local processing. Maximum 10 MB per file, 25 MB total and 100 PDF pages. Encrypted PDFs require the separate known-password decryption tool. Digitally signed input may lose signature validity after any modification; preserve your original. Unsupported or malformed files produce an error. Cancellation stops active PDF renders and discards stale results; a synchronous library step finishes before the browser can handle cancellation.
Export readable PDF text as a TXT file
Extract the selectable text already present in a PDF and save it as plain UTF-8 text. This PDF-to-TXT converter is useful for copying and reusing document wording without page design.
Can a PDF-to-TXT converter read image-only scanned pages?
Not automatically. Image-only scans require OCR; this tool extracts selectable text present in the document.
