How to use

Open a JPEG, PNG or WebP. The decoded pixels are exported to a fresh PNG without copied EXIF.

Limits and behavior

Re-encoding also discards other source metadata and applies orientation; the output can be larger. Still PNG, JPEG and WebP only; 20 MB, 4 megapixels and 4,096 pixels per side. Processing stays on your device. Exports apply orientation and discard source metadata. PNG output preserves transparency unless the selected operation composites it.

Create a fresh PNG without original EXIF

Re-encode the visible pixels to PNG to remove embedded source metadata such as original camera EXIF.

Is this guaranteed to remove identifying content from the image?

No. Visible faces, text or identifying features remain; new files may also contain basic structural metadata.
