Ready. Enter your input to begin.

How to use this tool

Paste a hyphenated UUID. Uppercase and lowercase are accepted, as are the Nil and Max UUIDs.

Limits and behavior

Supports RFC UUID versions 1–8 with RFC variant bits, plus Nil and Max. Other variant families, braces, and URN syntax are rejected. Validation does not prove uniqueness. Input is limited to 1 MB and output to 3 MB. No input content is saved by CraftAI.

Check the structure of a UUID

Validate identifier syntax and inspect the version of supported canonical UUID strings.

Does a valid UUID identify a trustworthy entity?

No. UUID structure says nothing about ownership, provenance or account permissions.
