How to use

0% removes color, 100% is neutral, and larger values increase saturation.

Limits and behavior

Uses weighted sRGB grayscale (0.2126R + 0.7152G + 0.0722B). Clipping can occur. Still PNG, JPEG and WebP only, up to 20 MB, 4 megapixels and 4,096 pixels per side. Animated PNG/WebP are rejected. Processing and downloads stay on your device. Browser decoding applies EXIF orientation; exports do not preserve EXIF, DPI or original color-profile metadata. PNG preserves transparency; JPEG flattens it onto white. WebP export requires a browser encoder and is checked before download.

Make image colors more or less vivid

Adjust saturation around a grayscale reference to boost or soften the intensity of image colors. Use low saturation for muted looks.

Is saturation the same as brightness?

No. Saturation changes color intensity; brightness adjusts overall lightness. Extreme saturation may reduce color accuracy.
