Limits and behavior

Uses 4-bit-per-channel histogram bins ranked by alpha-weighted coverage. Percentages refer to the entire visible image and can total less than 100% when bins are omitted. Still PNG, JPEG and WebP only; 20 MB, 4 megapixels and 4,096 pixels per side. Processing stays on your device. Exports apply orientation and discard source metadata. PNG output preserves transparency unless the selected operation composites it.

Does palette extraction return exact branded colors?

No. Sampling and quantization can approximate source colors; verify official brand values separately.
