How to use
Choose a HEIC/HEIF file. The libheif decoder reads the primary picture, which is composited over white and JPEG encoded.
Limits and behavior
Only the first primary decoded picture is exported. Sequences, auxiliary depth data and source metadata are not retained. Still PNG, JPEG and WebP only; 20 MB, 4 megapixels and 4,096 pixels per side. Processing stays on your device. Exports apply orientation and discard source metadata. PNG output preserves transparency unless the selected operation composites it.
Convert HEIC iPhone photos to JPG
Decode the primary picture stored in a HEIC or HEIF file and export it as a JPEG image. This is useful when a website or application does not accept HEIC photos.
Will every HEIC photo convert on every device?
Compatibility can depend on the HEIC data and available decoding support. This tool exports the primary picture and does not promise to preserve every auxiliary image or metadata field.
