How to use
Choose a block size. Each block becomes its alpha-weighted average color.
Limits and behavior
Partial blocks at the right and bottom are averaged independently. Still PNG, JPEG and WebP only; 20 MB, 4 megapixels and 4,096 pixels per side. Processing stays on your device. Exports apply orientation and discard source metadata. PNG output preserves transparency unless the selected operation composites it.
Make a whole image look pixelated
Convert an image into averaged square blocks for a low-resolution mosaic effect. Useful for stylized graphics and retro image treatments.
Can pixelation safely anonymize faces or sensitive text?
Not reliably. Sensitive information may remain recognizable. Use irreversible masking or removal for privacy.
