How to use

Positive stops brighten and negative stops darken. One stop doubles linear-light channel values.

Limits and behavior

Uses the sRGB transfer function; clipping is possible. This cannot recover clipped source detail. Still PNG, JPEG and WebP only; 20 MB, 4 megapixels and 4,096 pixels per side. Processing stays on your device. Exports apply orientation and discard source metadata. PNG output preserves transparency unless the selected operation composites it.

Brighten or darken image exposure

Change linear-light exposure with stops, useful for experimenting with photographic-looking adjustments.

Can exposure correction recover clipped highlights?

No. Detail absent from the source image cannot be recreated by exposure adjustment.
